Q.

Hello doctor . Our 2 year old hit his toe on the door hard while playing and this thumb nail of the foot has came off. Currently it’s just dangling from the root of the nail and will come off any time. What can we do now? The entire skin below the nail will be exposed then. When will the new nail regrow. Please help

A. babies 2 years old in case there is a traumatic separation of the toenail then you have to consult with the surgeon and get the appropriate dressing done to not leave it open as it can become infected
