Q.

My son is 2.6 years old and he is getting continuously sick like cough and cold and fever. We have shifted to bangalore six month ago and weather here continuously change, sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Doctor say his body will adjust after few months. I want to ask that will it affect his development? I m very concerned.

A. children get sick they get immunity due to the illness it is very common that children will fall ill again and again that is within one or two months sometimes before 5 years of age. this falling ill is just steps to to immunity build up in these children and you will see that after 5 years they will not fall ill that much frequently. till that time just take care of regular diet made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and do not give outside packet foods and complete the vaccination of the child
