Q.

my son (18 months) has started holding his bowel movements.. He had constipation few months back and since then he has started holding it. He runs around to stop the bowel movement.. he is not constipated now but still he doesn't want to do potty.. what should i do?

A. he is not constipated.. He drinks lot of water, fibrous fruits.. i give him prune juice also. but the problem is he witholds the bowel movement. Whenever he has pressure, he runs around the whole house and stops it.

A. if there is constipation give plenty of liquids along with high fibre in the diet which is very important things to be avoided which causes constipation like milk banana and maida then consult the doc and just start for a proper toilet training make the child comfortable on the toilet sheet
