Q.

my kid is having common cold. we consulted doctor and gave him the medicine. he vomited everything within a min. he slept without drinking anything. will he be dehydrated?

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wuikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3j-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
