my kid is 3yr and 15 days old. she catches cold very frequently. now she is suffering from cold and cough. she tried to vomit the phlugm and which caused throat pain. can someone plz suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Baby immunity and growth can be taken care of by giving a proper diet with all the nutrition required for proper growth of the child .
vitamin C, zinc, iron and vitamin D has key role in this.
Multivitamin syrup like syp full 365 can be given 5 ml twice avf day for 1 to 2 months.
