My first fr. didn't ask me for double marker test but then due to personal reasons we changed the dr.and she asked for quad marker test (bcoz we came beyond the double maker test pregnancy week) but now few people are telling it is not necessary for people below 30 and now i am confused shoul i go for it or not?

A. kindly follow whatever your doctor has advised. these days it has no relation with the age of the mother and the these test are being done even if the mother is 18 years old. it is entirely up to you if you want to get it done or not
