My daughter is one year and one month old. She's had a cold for a month, and I'm at a loss on what to feed her. Is it appropriate to give fruits during a cold and fever?

A. yes whether a child will develop an illness, cough, cold, or sore throat from specific foods (like banana, curd, chocolates, sour fruits, grapes, or milk) varies individually. if there's a chistory of allergy or consistent reactions within 2-3 hours of consuming a food, avoid it. otherwise, these foods can be given even during illness or when the child has a cough and cold.
