Q.

My daughter is 7 year old baby girl...she is having viral fever 100-101 since last 2 days....and mild cold...what all should I do to keep her safe

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if feiiver is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. it is the viral cold .Temperature more than 99 is fever . Can Give paracetamol for fever and can be given 3 to 4 times in a day . If temperature does not comes down then give nobel plus or baby not looking well then need a examination as it may be any infection .
