Q.

My daughter is 4.6 years old suffering from cold and fever since 5 days. Fever coming down and rising.. can u please suggest is tht viral r I need to go for test.

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be usegd in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .b Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Yes it is going to be better that you go ahead with a blood test to know what is the reason behind it because this way we cannot find it out also if the fever last for more than 72 hours and it is very important for you to get a blood test done to figure out what could be the reason behind itWrite Your Answer Here
