Q.

My daughter is 2 years old and has had a cold for the past 4 days. I gave her cold syrup for only 2 days. As of today, July 20th, her cold symptoms have lessened, but along with the mild cold, her body temperature sometimes rises to between 99°F and just less 100°F. However, her temperature also returns to normal on its own without any medication. Please suggest, what to do?

A. Repeat paracetamol every six hours if it is needed if you see the temperature is 99° or more than that because your child is having fever and if the fever doesn’t subside within 72 hours of the medication that you are giving them in that case you will have to consult your doctor for further assistance
