Q.

my daughter is 2 years 1 month old now...she still does not communicate in words...she doesn't say mummy papa, etc. Although she does identify shapes , fruits and vegetables and everything she read in her book. she can count upto 20, identify them, she knows phonics and also she can sing more than 10 to 15 poems such as rain rain go away, old MacDonald, etc. Should I be worried?

A. If your toddler is not meeting the expected speech and language milestones for their age, it is vital to seek professional help. A certified speech-language pathologist can assess your child's skills and guide you on how to best support their development.
