Q.

My daughter is 2 and half year old...she only offers Rice and she rejects other food items easily....I am worried about her growth and also weight is not growing ....please help me to make my daughter healthier

A. Rice is equally good as chapati so if the child is eating rice then you can make many recipes out of it like mix veg pulao dal rice khichdi dosa idli uthapam rice porridge and add desi ghee in meals of the child

A. I tried everything but she only likes Rice.....forcefully also I am not able to feed her.....

A. Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight. Please take a pediatricians' suggestion before you start any of these foods.
