Q.
My daughter is 2.8 yrs old and currently she developed a habit of licking her lips and surrounding areas. I applied coconut oil, vaseline etc. but it does not helped much. How to stop her ? Is this is a indication of anything?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. well you can give her iron supplement ok.but keep on telling her nit yo do.Best will be to consult a doctor there as well who can practically see the patient and help to get a diagnosis

It Normally doesn’t indicate anything so need not worry about it maybe your child is just feeling a little discomfort in the tongue baby which is why your child is behaving like that to have more clarity over this will have to get a check with your doctor ones
