my child was having a viral cold for the last two days.met with the doctor and she is using saline drops and oral drops to relieve the symptoms.bow I'm having a cold can I take any cold tablets like sinarest?? I tried almost all home remedies but not working

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasavtl congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
