Q.

my baby suffering from cold and I went hospital using medicine everything from 3 days but same no cure.howmany days it will take cure cold in babies. because of cold he is not eating properly what I should do. what I should not give during cold

A. apply vicks baby rub on nose nd chest nd give him steam as much as u can but in ur lap .

A. viral infection takes time to cure. wait for 5 days. nebulisation is good .

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used yr in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
