my baby's eyes are watering during breastfeeding and this has been started from past 2 days what could be the reason and how to treat that

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma which needs proper examination. if it is asscociated wfith some discharge it could be infection but no self medication should be used.

If your baby's eyes become red, puffy or sore, with a yellow or greenish discharge that can cause their eyelids to stick together, the eye may be infected. This is called conjunctivitis. You should always see your doctor if you think your child has an eye infection. It may need antibiotic eye drops or ointment.
