Q.

my baby is suffering from cold since 4days... using Maxtra drops 0.5ML 3times a day.. please advise if this is correct dosage for 4months old baby

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhaxlationf is repeated frequently .

A. hi please don't self medicate your child it can be dangerous so I advise you to confirm it with your pediatrician and give any medicine after consulting with your pediatrician only.
