Q.
my baby is running into her 6th month, she has severe cough, we have tried to give her massage with mustard oil, cocunut oil, putting nasal drops into nose, give her steam as well..but her cough is not getting relieved..her tempreture is normal..her cough doesn't let her to sleep.. please advise on urgent basis

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. You should consult your paediatrician as baby is small and cough syrups should only be given under doctor prescription as none of the home remedies are working to reduce coughing

You are doing enough as of now from your own side now it is time for you to go ahead with a consultation with your doctor for medication as well as ask your doctor if you can nebuliser child because it really helps in reduction Dao congestion from the chest and throat of your child
