Q.
my baby is 9 months old and has been suffering from a cold for one week.giving pedcold syrup 0.6 ml twice in a day. any home remedy or medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually v associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
