My baby is 6 months old and weighs 6 kg. At birth, he weighed 2.550 gm. Is his weight normal?

A. dear mum , yes the wt gain of ur baby is fine baby shd b double the birth wt by 5 mth or lless n shd b triple the birth wt by1 yr

A. Your baby's birth weight was 2.550 gm (which is 2.55 kg). Doubling this would be approximately 5.1 kg. While 6 kg is above the doubled birth weight, it's still below the average for a 6-month-old.
