Q.

My baby weighed 2.98 kg at birth. Now she is 6.5 months old and weighs 6.3 kg. Is the weight normal?

A. Hello mom monthy approximately weight gain is in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg & by the age of 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight & triple by age of 1

A. Yes that’s good enough because your child is having double the birthweight by the time of six month and 300 g more in another 15 days approximately so it’s good enough because about 4 to 500 g gain in a month is ideally considered good for a child
