Q.

My baby is 6.5 months now. He is happily accepting food without sugar but I have read somewhere that it is good to add powdered jaggery(in a small amount) to child’s meals as it adds extra nutrients and is also not at all harmful. Is it really true?

A. Jaggery and dates are good replacement to white sugar so you can use them throughout the time also if you don’t want to introduce sugar after the age of one year and it is not mandatory that you you add sweet or introduce sweet it’s totally your choice if you want to give there is no compulsion for that
