Q.

My baby is 4months old and she is not gaining enough weight. She drinks very less milk and that too in less quantities throughout the day. Doctor said try to feed her more milk but she vomits if forcefully fed or cries uncontrollably. This has her losing sleep too. Hence I have started solids(cerelac/barley/dal puree). Now she drinks the whole bottle milk as she is thirsty after solids. She sleeps better now and plays a lot. Should I continue or should I not as we are not supposed to feed solids before 6months?

A. Hello mom actually first start with liquid consistency foods only so fresh fruit juices , vegetable soup , dal , rice water etc , once they get used to it you can move to semi solids
