Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is 5 months 5 days old , she drink very less milk and is gaining less weight. she weighs 6.2kg. what should i do? can i start with her solids??

A. the weight of the child is within normal limits and at present no intervention is required and you have to just continued breastfeeding of the child and along with that you can give vitamin d supplements given by your doctor

A. Hello ma’am No you cannot start with semisolid food before the completion of six months of eight and seven months beginning. Also I would like to tell you your child is very healthy when it comes to the weight of your child so I would not advise you to worry about it or just think that your child is underweight or something it’s an appropriate weight as per the age
