A. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child. For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block. Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing For fever and pain give paracetamol Go for home recmedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribedd. if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
