my baby is 4 months old and she is having light cold

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can bkpe given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

give steam inhalation
use Nasoclear saline nasal drops
apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back and feet and gently massage at bed time
you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
