Q.

My baby is 3 month old. she is having pink rashes on her cheeks. when I consulted my doctor He suggested us to apply coconut oil and don’t apply rash creams as it is normal for babies. But I worried that once the rash is getting cured one side at same time it is spreading very nearer skin on her cheeks. Is it normal? Is coconut oil alone enough for my baby skin to get out the rashes.

A. Coconut oil is a natural treatment that's commonly used to treat skin conditions and maintain good skin health. It may also help treat or prevent diaper rash. Using coconut oil topically may help relieve inflamed diaper rash and any accompanying redness, irritation, or itching.
