Q.

my baby is 3 month old....he used to drink milk for 15-20 mins for 1 feed and take 2.5 to 3 hrs time for next feed.....he will complete his 4th month this week....from last 5 t 6 days he is drinking for 8 mins and next feed after 2 hrs...I am worried is that normal or not....he is completely in breastfeeding...can I know how to handle this

A. dear mum if tge baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hrs is active alert and gaining adequate wt then feeding is sufficient let baby feed on demand

Q. #Mamypoko#AskTheExpert Is it normal for babies to take feed for 45 mins or upto 1 hr 15-20 mins. My baby is 16 days old and he is taking feed at this duration. Say in 2 hrs he would take 1 feed for 40-45 mins. Again if he isn't falling asleep he would demand more milk and feed for another 15-20 mins. So in 2 hrs he might feed upto 1 hr 20 mins at times ( First feed for 40-45 mins then a break and then second feed for 15-20 mins). Once he took feed upto 1 hr at a stretch. Kindly let know if these feeding duration is normal for new born. Few suggested that the ideal duration for feeding would be 20-30 mins. Kindly let know you're opinion on the above query and if feeding for long duration is normal
