Q.

my baby is 3.5 months old and neck control is still not complete...he can hold his head steady only momentarily and then it is swinging.. what can be done to improve neck control?

A. Put your baby on her tummy during awake periods and closely supervise. Allow your baby to exercise and move in this position it helps develop head and neck muscles. also you can make use of toys which makes sound and which will attract her.

A. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age.d regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 monthxs it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones
