Q.
my baby is 2 month old now he is suffering from cold from 1 and half month I used nossle drops and T-minic drops for cold still not cured and he is making sounds in the night like gur gur and breathing is very tough

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract.
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound whichd is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is having some difficulty in breathing you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the naszal cavity as well as the respiratory tract.
the problem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Try giving indirect steam inhalation twice a day. Use Babyhug cold rub to your child’s chest, throat, back and feet soles. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and seek further advice. Good luck and take care.
