My baby is 16 months old. If he drinks enough water or more water, he gets hiccups. Why he is getting hiccups after consuming water?

A. hiccups are not related to that... when the stomach gets distended it puts the diaphragm muscles in spasm that causes hiccups so don't worry about it . . . . take care

A. Hiccups Are generally also very normal maybe your child is having too much in a go suddenly when you have something very quickly that I am also this can happen but this is mostly just discomforting for a child don’t worry it’s there is nothing wrong with it
