#AskTheExpert my baby girl is 16 days old and she hiccups more. we thought after feeding she is getting hiccups but during Normal time also she gets hiccups. is it normal??

A. hello....It happens to most babies...but it's is recommended that taking a break to burp the baby is good ..sucking on a pacifier may help with a baby's hiccupping....when the stomach fills with air, it may push on the diaphragm, causing hiccups..taking a break from feeding to burp the baby may reduce the amount of air in their stomach. ...this can help in prevent hiccups.
