A. Thank you so much Dr. Vandan. Also would need one more suggestion today my 14 month old had travelled with us to a hill station. It was a 2 hour journey in flight till Delhi. And from Delhi to manali it took 20+ hours by road , car journey. it's his first long journey along with other family relatives as well. most of the times he's grumpy and cries a lot. He'll wake up in between his sleep and cries until we sush and make him sleep. The return journey will take same the time 20+ hours from manali to delhi. and from Delhi its a 2 hours flight to our place. I hope this journey doesn't cause any trouble or problem to my child. thanks

A. this type of behaviour / stranger anxiety is very common and after corona this problem has aggravated because the children could not go outside to socialize. it is important that you should take the child outside and stay with the child so that along with you present in the surrounding the child will be able to to xobserve people and then gradually mingle with people and children there is no need to hurry that the child should immediately xplay with other children or or people and you should give space and time to the child to work upon it there is no need to worry and the child will definitely come out of this scared behaviour.
