POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. It's quite common for a 7-month-old baby to not yet be standing by themselves. Typically, babies begin to stand with support between 8 to 10 months and may start standing without support closer to their first birthday. However, every baby develops at their own pace. You can encourage your baby’s development by:
1. **Providing Plenty of Tummy Time:** This helps strengthen neck, shoulder, arm, and back muscles.
2. **Encouraging Sitting Up:** Help your baby sit up with support to develop core strength.
3. **Using Toys:** Use toys that can help your baby pull themselves up to stand.
4. **Assisting with Standing:** Hold your baby in a standing position to help them get used to bearing weight on their legs.
If you have any concerns about your baby's development, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician.
