Q.
my baby is 10months old. his getting cold from 15 days.consult doctor his given sumo cold syrup...but not used for for my baby boy..he is very superring from cold...plz suggest me

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness that may occur with symptoms like sneezing, running nose, cough ,sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.at times it may be allergic too.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would help in relieving congestion n soothing the irritation in nose and throat .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex ctold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms but it it will be better to take only under medical guidance.
