Q.
My baby is 10 days old. He dint drink milk from night 23:30 hrs to morning 06:00 hrs. He dint even pass motion or pass urine. Is there anything to worry about or is everything normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggrested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided beforfe 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear After the first week, it is normal for your newborn to have 6 or more wet diapers in 24 hours. The urine should be pale yellow. After the first month, stools of breastfed babies usually become less frequent and may even happen less than once per day. Formula fed babies tend to have at least one stool per day.
