Q.

my baby boy is now 4 months old,he have cold and he is scheduled for his vaccination.Is it safe to get vaccinated with cold

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remeredy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per thed symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. good afternoon I would not recommend you to try to take the child for vaccination when he is not feeling well it is advisable to try to visit your pediatrician after the child has recovered fully from cold
