outside food / weaning / complementary is started after 6 months of ahe of the child.
in complementary feeding start with two rules
rule number 1 is that you have to give the food in the form which the child can swallow
rule number 2 is that always give a new food for for 5 to 6 days to see whether the child is able to digest that food or not as well as it will help in creating the taste in the child.
you can gradually start all types of food made from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits. you have to start initially with less amount and gradually you can increase the amount .
advisable to go for homemade food compared to outside food.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Dal ka pani, or lentil soup, can be a nutritious option for a baby. To prepare it, cook yellow or red lentils in water until they are soft. You can strain the cooked lentils to obtain a clear broth. This can be introduced to a baby's diet as a part of their transition to solid foods. Always ensure that the soup is lukewarm and suitable for the baby's age and ability to eat solids. It's advisable to consult with a pediatrician before introducing new foods to a baby's diet.
