Q.
My baby boy is 4months and 19 days and he already had three monthly vaccinations which include polio(OPV) and at the time birth as well....and his next vaccination is at the age of 6months. Should I take him to give Polio Vaccination drive by Government on 31.01.2021.??

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 years agoA. Pulse Polio is an immunisation campaign established by the government of India to eliminate infection by polio virus in India by vaccinating all children under the age of 5 years against the polio viruses.
Even though ur baby got vaccination as per immunization shedulde then also
need to give this polio drops to attain additional protection from polio infection.
Every child under 5yrs of age should be get this polio drops on 31st Jan 2021
