Q.

My baby, born at 38.5 weeks with fair complexion, was given phototherapy after birth for high jaundice. She was fair after birth but after phototherapy & shee started darkening. 5 months now, she has regained some fairness in the face but rest of the body is still dark. My husband and i am fair. But she is darker than us. Will she regain her original colour? Currently i am using aveeno moisturize and body wash. Also I am massaging with olive oil. Can i apply novo white cream.

A. can use any mild baby skin product Massage well. Keep your baby’s skin moisturized with a good mild body lotion as dry skin tends to look darker. Feed well to flush out all the toxins from the body.

A. Hello dear parent, it is little difficult to regain the colour back. As due to photo therapy, usually skin colour gets darker. Yu ou can only help to keep your skin of good quality by using good products and giving healthy to eat.
