#AskTheExpert hi doctor , my daughter is one month old now . She was fair when she was born , after 3 days of birth she got jaundice and was u dear phototherapy for 24 hours. Now little yellowish is there , but doctors recommended no need to worry it’s been 20 days. Her complexion is reduced a lot after phototherapy. Will she gain complexion ? We parents r v fair .

PujaMom of a 5 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi, Similar thing happened to us. But within 2-3 months my son had his original complexion back. He was born fair then suffered jaundice because of with he looked a bit dark afterwards. But when he completed 2 months his complexion was back to fair. Also my doctor had said that from birth to 1-2 years a child's complexion and eye color keeps on changing. So don't worry.
