Q.

my babby is 3.5 months old he is suffering with cold from past 15 days I using syrups and inhalation(steaming) for 2 days to him but still cold is not cured please suggest to cure cold quickly and he need to take 3rd month injection due to cold I didnt take him for that.Is that safe if he take injection during cold.

A. simple cough and cold, low grade fever, loose motions etc as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccinatison at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination. in severe illness only vaccination should be delayed. if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examidne the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
