my 5 month baby is having cold and also sneezing a little, please recommend any medicine

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. Nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common zcause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
Anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Continuez the regular diet which is being given to the child

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by tghe doctor is done and accgording to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .
