When I wake her up for feed she gets irritated and starts crying a lot and sleeps again. But when she gets up by herself, feeds about 5-7 mins only then sleeps again. Is there any matter of concern? What to do in this situation?

My 2 months old baby girl sleeps continuously for 4-6 hours in a stretch since last 2 days. When I wake her up for feed she gets irritated and starts crying a lot and sleeps again. But when she gets up by herself, feeds about 5-7 mins only then sleeps again. Is there any matter of concern? What to do in this situation?

A. this is totally normal.. if baby seems satisfied , passes pee and poop regularly and gaining weight then there's nothing to worry about... can be due to weather conditions or some babies sleep more

A. Hi, No worries dear. Ideally you should breastfeed on demand, that means whenever baby asks for it. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively on demand and don't forget to burp after breastfeed. Don't wake up the baby for feed during sleep. Enjoy your parenthood.
