my 18 mnths boy when ever he have cold it will continue for 3 to 4 weeks is this norml. pls answer me

A. can be because of allergic reaction Cold and cough in small babies because of viral infections due to less immunity in the baby treat them sympatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby it will subside in one week time
