my 11 MONTH son is suffering from cold more than 15 days..we had given prescribed MEDICATIONS BUT no change in his runny nose prbs..we tried home remedies like garlic ajwain potli ... mustered oil..salin drops . pinch of tulsi juice wat other way I use for his cold

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby is 11 months old and is having cold then follow upcommon cold or seasonal flu is viral in origin. Know some remedies to relieve baby.
For nasal blockage give naso clear saline drops which should be put in nose 2 drops each.
Can give otrivin pediatric nasal drops 2- 3 drops each nose.
Can give indirect steam inhalation in which steam is just in surrounding of baby. It can help to remove mucus by coughing process.
Apply vicks vaporub over back and chest of baby
In case baby has abnormal breathing sounds so soon see a doctor as it needs auscultation and examination.
