my babygirl is 14months old suffering from severe cold from yesterday night,she is having severe runny nose what medications should I take for it

Ramesh RFather of a 5 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. apply Vicks baby rub gently to her chest, back near throat to the feet and on fore head , back of the ears and to the nose apply it gently and make your baby to smell the vicks by keeping near her nose for 5 secs

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalatcddion would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
