my 11.5 months baby fever up and down why

It is the nature of the fever to keep coming over and over when you give medicine it is going to reduce them then it is going to increase again in another 4 to 6 hours but if the fever does not subside totally by completing the time of 72 hours then it is a problem where you have to go for testing for your child
