Q.

My 11 year old daughter has fever 101.3. I gave her 5 ml of Crocin which she threw up after 40 mins. Should I repeat the dose? Hee fever isn’t coming down

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative megdicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamibc acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
