May I use nobel cold for 8 months old baby in place is vicks vaporub

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes you can use baby Vicks VapoRub with caution Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

If there is any discomfort in your baby then consult your child’s doctor for a personal evaluation and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene for your baby. Give warm water and warm freshly prepared homemade foods. Try giving indirect steam inhalation. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil for skin warmth.
